Pashinyan walks from President’s Residence to Myasnikyan statue

After a meeting with President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan walked from the President’s Residence to Freedom Square, where many citizens were gathered to pay respects to the victims of the events of March 1, 2008.

People came as protesters carrying posters with pictures of second President Robert Kocharyan and third President Serzh Sargsyan. Pashinyan was accompanied by his wife, Anna Hakobyan, and his daughters. Nikol Pashinyan then began to walk towards the Myasnikyan statue. The citizens gathered at Freedom Square followed the Prime Minister.
