On April 11, 2019, the Investigative Committee launched proceedings to a criminal case that was filed by the National Security Service.
According to initial data, an engineer at the Dilijan National Park belonging to the Ministry of Nature Protection submitted a diploma to the human resources department that signified graduation from the Agrarian Engineering Department at the Armenian National Agrarian University, and was then appointed deputy head of the engineering-mechanics department at the national park.
An investigation proved that the diploma provided to HR was fake.
As a result, the investigative department of the NSS filed a criminal case on April 4th according to Article 325, Part 1 of the Criminal Code.

According to information received by Aravot Daily, the person charged with faking their diploma is Nikol Pashinyan’s cousin, Mamikon Hovhannisyan.
