Minister of Justice Artak Zeynalyan did not give reporters in parliament any explanation as to why he resigned. He said, “After evaluating information circulating in the media and outside the media, I made this decision.”
Reporters asked if he was referring to any dissatisfaction people had with his work. Zeynalyan said, “I evaluated information from all sources and made the decision to write a letter of resignation.”
When asked if he was pressured to do so, the minister did not reply. He said that he needed to attend a court session.
