On July 4th, Minister of Foreign Affairs Zohrab Mnatsakanyan will pay a working visit to Artsakh and meet with the Speaker of the National Assembly of Artsakh, Artsakh’s Diocese Leader, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and President of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan. Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Anna Naghdalyan told reporters about this visit.
According to her, this visit is a regular process, which is preceded or followed by meetings with Mnatsakanyan and his Azeri counterpart.
“This is done while taking into consideration the intention of keeping Artsakh more involved and it will not substitute Artsakh’s immediate involvement in the negotiations,” said Anna Naghdalyan. According to her, the issues touched upon during the meeting in Washington will be discussed with the leadership of Artsakh.
