“Dangerous subjects were spoken about during the meeting between the presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey on October 15th,” Azeri affairs expert and political analyst Angela Elibegova told reporters at the Hayeli media club regarding the meeting between Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Ilham Aliyev.
“Erdogan said that the Turkish and Azeri Armed Forces will unite on an international platform. Erdogan also thanked Aliyev for supporting Turkey’s actions in Syria,” Angela Elibegova emphasized.
According to her, this can have a dangerous impact. “The Azeri media considered this to be a warning that similar operations are expected to take place in Artsakh, especially because Turkey and Azerbaijan are carrying out cooperative military trainings.”
The expert said, “Aliyev allowed himself to speak despicably about the territorial integrity of Armenia by saying that the only obstacle standing in the way of the Pan-Turkic dream is Zangezur. I fully expect the Armenian side to firmly respond to this.”
