Comment by Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Anna Naghdalyan on Slovak Foreign Minister’s statement on hosting the meeting of Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Bratislava
’First of all, meetings between Foreign Ministers and leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan are mediated solely by the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs and high-ranking representatives of Co-Chair countries.
It is true that Co-Chairs extended an offer to organize a meeting, which we stated in our press releases on New York meeting between Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as on the results of the visit of Co-Chairs to the region. As you know, we notify on such meetings in an agreed manner and we will not violate this principle.’
