Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan welcomed the passage of a relevant resolution (H. Res. 296) recognizing the Armenian Genocide by the U.S. House of Representatives.
“I welcome the U.S. House of Representatives’ historical vote, which affirms the United States’ record on the Armenian Genocide. The Resolution is a bold step towards serving truth and historical justice that also offers comfort to millions of descendants of the Armenian Genocide survivors.
Please accept my heartfelt congratulations and admiration to the generations of American Armenians whose selfless political and public efforts and perseverance were the driving force and excitement of this historic vote. Never again,” Prime Minister Pashinyan said.
