Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today received representatives of the Central Board of the Ramkavar Azatakan Party (RAP), headed by Board Chairman Michael Kharapian (Canada).
Greeting the guests, the Premier said he was happy to hold a regular meeting with RAP representatives and attached importance to any discussion held in that format.
“Our latest meeting with Ramkavar Azatakan Party representatives took place in September this year on the sidelines of my visit to the United States. We appreciate the role and activities carried out by the traditional Armenian parties, including the RAP, in terms of preserving the Armenian identity and strengthening the Armenia-Diaspora-Artsakh linkages. We highly appreciate RAP’s position and support for reforms in Armenia and are keen to pursue the ongoing dialogue,” Nikol Pashinyan said.
The RAP Central Board Chairman said the meeting with the Prime Minister was a good opportunity to exchange ideas on joint efforts aimed at Motherland’s strengthening. Michael Kharapian emphasized that the Ramkavar Azatakan Party backs Prime Minister Pashinyan, his government and reaffirmed his party’s support for the ongoing large-scale reform and development programs.
