Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a consultation to discuss the report on Armenia State Interest Fund (ANIF) activities and the Fund’s future plans.
The Prime Minister was briefed on ANIF’s budget performance and expenditures, attracted investments, progress in the implementation of strategic tasks and specific investment programs. Work is underway with investors on specific projects in the fields of renewable energy, construction, light and food industry, agriculture, healthcare and others. Steps have been taken to attract investments.
ANIF has reached agreement with the Russian Direct Investment Fund to set up a joint foundation. A process of registering ANIF representations in Abu Dhabi, Moscow and Paris is underway.
Stressing the importance of achieving greater efficiency in the Fund’s activities, the Premier highlighted the need to bring professional investors to our country.
