Armenian President invited to share vision of global development at Davos 2020

November 29,2019 18:22

ARMENPRESS. World Economic Forum founder and executive chairman Klaus Schwab has invited Armenian President Armen Sarkissian to participate in the 50th annual World Economic Forum in Davos in January 2020.

Sarkissian and Schwab met earlier in October in Geneva. Schwab had told the Armenian President that the World Economic Forum is interested in his vision of global development and they would like him to deliver a speech at the Davos forum about new quantum technologies, quantum systems, quantum politics and development directions and trends of the modern world.

“You chaired the first World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council on Energy Security and the Forum considers you to be a Fourth Industrial Revolution visionary. I would be honored to once again welcome you to Davos to drive discussions on technology – specifically the quantum-related agenda – with the foremost experts and business and government leaders,” Schwab said in a letter to Sarkissian.

The 2020 World Economic Forum will take place from January 21 to 24 in Davos, Switzerland.
