ARMENPRESS. President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian met with Joe Kaeser, President and Chief Executive Officer of Siemens AG, one of the largest technological companies in the world, on the sidelines of his working visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Presidential Office told Armenpress.
The Armenian President and the Siemens CEO discussed the prospects of implementing joint projects in new technologies, artificial intelligence, as well as e-governance. They reached an agreement to form a working group in the future to study the broad cooperation opportunities in these spheres.
The meeting also touched upon the implementation of joint projects and exchange of experience in educational, scientific-research spheres, as well as viewed the opportunities for cooperation on the sidelines of the presidential initiative ATOM (Advanced Tomorrow) dedicated to the development of science and new technologies in Armenia.
