On March 28, at 00:20 an emergency call was received to Crisis management national center that a car accident had occurred on Shatin-Hors roadway of Vayots dzor province.
A fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MES of RA dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that “Peugeot” car (driver Emil P. born in 1980) had run off the roadway on the 10th km of M-2 roadway and crashed into the metal guardrail on the side of the road. Passenger Erik S. (born in 2000) died on the spot and Emil P. got injuries.
The rescuers approached Emil P. to the ambulance. The casualty was hospitalized to the medical center of Yeghegnadzor town, where was discharged after receiving appropriate medical assistance.
