On January 11, at 02։25 an emergency call was received to Armavir regional crisis management center that a fire had broken out in an apartment of building 1 of Nar-Dos street of Ejmiatsin town.
Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MES of RA dispatched to the scene.
The fire was localized at 02:46 and extinguished at 03:07. Living room furniture burnt: the resident Giorgi M. (born in 1935) died on the spot.
The rescuers took Sveta KH. (born in 1937) out of the apartment and moved to ambulance car․ The casualty was hospitalized in the medical center of Vagharshapat town, where the doctors assessed her health condition as serious.
