The Commission for Coordination of Activities to Prevent the Spread of Coronavirus in the Republic of Armenia met today in the Office of Government, chaired by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
To begin with, Minister of Healthcare Arsen Torosyan gave the latest update of coronavirus cases and reported on infected persons’ health status. He advised that over the next couple of days Armenia’s health system will be furnished with new medical supplies, including 100 artificial respiratory devices, 60 thousand tests and other accessories – masks, special clothing, glasses, etc.
Then the meeting discussed steps aimed at preventing the spread of coronavirus, the manageability of the epidemiological situation, as well as issues related to the ongoing restrictions of people’s free movement and economic activities.
In conclusion, the Prime Minister told those concerned to submit a relevant draft decision, taking into account the proposals and recommendations voiced during the discussion.
