Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan chaired a regular consultation on the government’s anti-crisis policy, which discussed high-tech industry promotion mechanisms and strategic steps to develop the IT sector.
Minister of High-Tech Industry Hakob Arshakyan repored back the findings of a recent survey, which sought to assess the impact of COVID-19 on IT activities and possibilities for solving the problems faced in this sphere.
Assistance mechanisms, tools to be applied as part of the logic of development, the introduction of strategic mechanisms were discussed during the exchange of views that followed. . A number of comments and suggestions were presented.
The Premier stressed that the stimulation of the technological sector through state assistance tools is important not only in terms of tackling the problems arising from the current situation, but also in the context of promoting Armenia’s technological priorities.
