On June 3rd, the third President of Artsakh, Bako Sahakyan, was invited to participate in a video conference with the Inquiry Committee for Examining the Circumstances of the Military Activities of April 2016.
“We had eight questions for Mr. Sahakyan and he answered all of them. I cannot speak about the details that we are allowed to publish. I can only say that he provided exhaustive answers to all of our questions,” a member of the committee and My Step deputy Christine Poghosyan told Aravot Daily.
The activities of the committee ended on Thursday, but the former Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Yuri Khachaturov, did not participate in any of the sessions.
Regarding this, Christine Poghosyan noted that the committee’s evaluation is clear. “It is unfortunate that Mr. Khachaturov listened to other people and he was unable to play a role in this important process as a soldier who had many years of experience.”
