On June 17, at 04:28 an emergency call was received to Crisis management national center that car accident with fire had occurred on Artashat-Masis roadway: there were casualties.
Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Ararat Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MES of RA dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that “Mercedes” (driver Saribek M. born in 1985) and “BMW X5” (driver David Z. born in 1980) cars collided on the 16th kilometer of Yerevan-Meghri roadway and the latter ran off the roadway, overturned and was caught on fire.
Before the rescuers arrived at the scene the drivers and the passenger of the “BMW X5” car Lilit H. were hospitalized to “Erebouni” medical center.

The fire was localized at 04:43 and extinguished at 04:50. The “BMW X5” car burnt.
The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the “Mercedes” car.
