EU NEIGHBOURS. Otilia Cuciuc from Moldova and Aysel Alizada from Azerbaijan have been declared joint winners of the #EU4Energy Babushka challenge, both taking first prize for their inspiring stories on how to save energy at home. In addition, the jury also awarded a special prize to Loredana Gamurari from Moldova.
The contest ran on social media from 21st May to 7th June with the EU4Energy Babushka character collecting creative tips and tricks on how to save energy.
In addition to the main winners, a number of runner up prizes were also awarded.
The challenge was organised by the EU4Energy communications project and funded by the European Union.
