“We consider the Azerbaijani provocations and sabotage that took place yesterday along the northeastern border of Armenia to be an unacceptable adventure especially during a pandemic,” the deputy prime minister of Armenia, Tigran Avinyan, said in reference to the provocative operations that took place along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border during the special session of parliament that was called as a result of the extension of the state of emergency.
“I am once again making our opinion clear for the international community; the Azerbaijani authorities are the ones completely responsible for any Azerbaijani casualties and potential tensions in the region,” Avinyan emphasized.
According to him, the Armenian army is carrying out its duties by properly responding to the opponent’s provocative activities. “I am calling upon the public to be careful and to only share official information in order to empower the Armenian army.”
