EU NEIGHBOURS . The Armenian winners of the national final of the world’s largest competition for green business projects, ClimateLaunchpad, have been announced. The winners will represent the country at the global finals virtual event to be held from 30 September to 2 October. This year’s national finals event in Armenia was held online on 5 September, where different Armenian start-ups were given the opportunity to present their green business ideas to the jury.
First place went to the Green Concepts – an autonomous ecosystem to help take care of your health. Second place was given to Mieden – a green jewellery line producing eco-friendly accessories. The third place winner is Greenshop.am Smart – an online platform connecting different green businesses and giving them the opportunity to sell handmade eco-products, organic food and zero-waste promotion products.
The ClimateLaunchpad competition is organised with financial support from the Green for Growth Fund Technical Assistance Facility and is co-financed by the EU within the framework of the EU4Energy initiative.
