During his meeting at Sevan with the Republican Party youth, the third President said that he made that decision due to the situation surrounding the Artsakh conflict negotiations at the time.
Aravot Daily found out some noteworthy details from the meeting the third President of Armenia and President of the Republican Party, Serzh Sargsyan, held with the youth of the RPA.
In particular, the third president openly said that he was forced to make that decision due to the serious issues surrounding the Artsakh conflict negotiations at the time. He also stressed that he always worked with dignity with his foreign colleagues and presented Armenia’s interests without any global political restraints.
Serzh Sargsyan confessed that he is a strong supporter of Armenian-Russian military relations. He brought up Armenia’s membership in the EAEU, the length of time for Russia’s military base to be in Armenia being extended until 2043, and his mentioning of the Armenian-Russian military and technical cooperation during his first press conference as examples of his success as a leader.

He emphasized that he also made a lot of effort in strengthening Armenia’s ties with other world powers. The third president brought up Armenia’s relations with the USA as an example, which high-ranking American officials at the time rated as being on the highest level. He also mentioned the Comprehensive Extended Partnership Agreement that was signed with the EU, which enabled the Artsakh conflict to have a resolution that would emphasize the people of Artsakh’s right to self-determination. When that agreement is ratified, it will become a legal-political approach for the 27 member states of the EU.
In response to an audience member’s question of why foreign powers supported the revolution of 2018 if that were the case, Serzh Sargsyan said that he will answer that question during one of his upcoming press conferences. Serzh Sargsyan also did not respond to a question about the “Nikol was right and I was wrong” statement, saying that he will also speak about that during an upcoming press conference.

Instead of Serzhik being prosecuted, sentenced and imprisoned to the full extent of the law, Pashinyan’s government encourages this criminal Serzhik’s inconceivable return to freely, actively and publicly campaign!
I guess, in his third year of absolute FREEDOM, Serzhik has been assured that he will never be held accountable for ten years of stealing elections, billion$$ and human rights from 10 million Armenians worldwide. When will the Pashinyan government’s madness end!
