EU NEIGHBOURS. The EU-funded EU4Business project ‘Innovative tourism and technology development for Armenia’ has announced a new grant scheme, offering up to €50,000 for start-ups engaged in the ‘Armenia Startup Academy Traction’ programme.
The aim of the grant scheme is to promote technology start-ups in their product and business development, to accelerate the development of products and businesses, and trigger additional investment.
The Seed Stage grant scheme requires 50% matching financing from the private sector for projects of up to €100,000. It targets the development of industrial prototypes, start-ups in production/manufacturing, market validation, product launch and go-to-market strategies.
The competition is open to all successful graduates of the ‘Armenia Startup Academy Traction’ programme. It aims to increase the overall competitiveness of the programme and contribute to the faster development of the Armenian start-up ecosystem.
