On October 27, the RA National Assembly began the work of the regular sittings. Before turning to the legislative work, by the proposal of the NA Deputy Speaker Lena Nazaryan the deputies with one-minute silence honoured the memory of the brave sons, who had died because of the Azerbaijani-Turkish aggression unleashed on September 27, as well as the October 27, 1999 crime victims.
The parliament approved the agendas of the fifth session of the RA NA seventh convocation, as well as the regular sittings.
As Lena Nazaryan has informed, that the CEC has presented the Protocol N 8 on providing the mandate of the deputy Tigran Urikhanyan, who has been elected deputy of the RA National Assembly and has prematurely suspended the powers, to the next candidate. According to that, the mandate is given to the next candidate of the first part of the national electoral list of My Step parties’ alliance Karapet Mkhchyan. Under the constitutional law the NA Rules of Procedure, Karapet Mkhchyan was sworn-in the NA hall.
The MPs debated the draft law on Ratifying the Letter Agreement concerning the water resources presented by the RA Deputy Minister of the Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Hakob Vardanyan.

The parliament debated the draft law on Ratifying the Agreement on Providing the grant Economic and Social Development between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of Japan presented by the RA First Deputy Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan.
The RA NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs endorsed the abovementioned draft laws.
The draft law on Making Amendments and Addendum to the law on Involvement of Banking Deposits authored by the NA deputies Artak Manukyan, Varazdat Karapetyan and Babken Tunyan with the enclosed package.
The RA NA Head Committee and the RA Central Bank presented their endorsements on the draft law.
The NA deputy Mikayel Melkumyan presented for passing in the second reading draft law on Amending the RA law on Bankruptcy of the Governors of the Banks, Loan Organizations, Investment Companies and Insurance Companies on which the NA Head Committee and the RA Central Bank presented their endorsements.
The draft law on Amending the RA Tax Code and the law on Notice of Activity Implementation was debated in the second reading.
The draft law on Amending the law on the Programme of the State Property Privatization for 2017-2020 presented by the Government was also debated in the second reading. The key rapporteur, the RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Armen Simonyan presented the details on the draft law.
The RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs endorsed the draft law.
As a result of voting, the debated bills were passed. Covering the agenda, the parliament ended the work.
In accordance with the constitutional law the NA Rules of Procedure, the deputies will make announcements at the last sitting of the day.
