“Vladimir Putin said many other things that refute the circumstances in the context of your other question,” the secretary of the My Step faction, Hakob Simidyan, told reporters in parliament in response to questions regarding Russian President Vladimir Putin’s statements.
When asked about how Vladimir Putin said that Pashinyan rejected an offer that he put on the table on October 18th and 19th, which Aliyev had agreed to, Simidyan immediately responded, “There will be comments about that, but Vladimir Putin also made other statements.” When asked which one he liked the most, Simidyan responded, “It’s not whether or not I liked them.” Upon the observation that many politicians have said the same thing about Shushi, including Putin, whereas Nikol Pashinyan says something different, Simidyan responded, “As I said, there were answers in Vladimir Putin’s statements. There were many other circumstances connected to Shushi, such as that the Shushi issue was not on the table, but it was put on the table during this war. That will be explained. There are many questions of concern.”
Aravot Daily asked about whether Simidyan agrees with Edmon Marukyan’s suggestion about how a committee should be established that will investigate every detail before, during, and after the war. Simidyan responded that this was the first time he heard about that suggestion, but he believes that it requires some explanation.
Reporters also asked about how there are many people in the faction who are dissatisfied with the situation and want to resign, but the faction is working on them. Simidyan said, “No one is working on anyone. Our faction has public concerns.”
