On December 15, Foreign Minister of Armenia Ara Aivazian held a phone conversation with Foreign Minister of Estonia Urmas Reinsalu. The Foreign Minister of Estonia congratulated Minister Aivazian on assuming the position and wished him success in his important mission.
Ministers Aivazian and Reinsalu touched upon a number of issues related to the Armenian-Estonian relations, emphasizing the mutual readiness to undertake steps to further expand and enrich the bilateral agenda. They also exchanged views on cooperation within multilateral formats.
Ministers Aivazian and Reynsalu also discussed issues of regional security and stability. In this context, Minister Aivazian presented to his counterpart the steps being undertaken to address the humanitarian crisis in Artsakh resulting from the Turkish-Azerbaijani aggression. The interlocutors highlighted the importance of addressing the issues of the peace process exclusively within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs.
