UAV can be highly effective not only in search and rescue operations after disasters, but also in arriving for help to the lost expeditions and tourists. Specialists of the Crisis Management State Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have initiated research on the use of drones in search and rescue operations. On February 4-8, the experiments were conducted in the field nearby a territory of Stepanavan town of Lori province.
Relevant studies and practical activity will form a model for the use of unmanned aerial vehicles in search and rescue operations that may be useful to rescuers.
