The Government proposed to make addendum to the RA law on Weapon and give an opportunity to the employees of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) Tax and Customs bodies to use a combat weapon. It can be used in cases of violations of intelligence, operative-intelligence, smuggling and other illegal actions and legislation.
At February 24 sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security the draft law was debated in the second reading.
The RA SRC Deputy Chairman Arshak Gasparyan informed that after being passed in the first reading the draft law had not undergone any changes, as there had not been any proposals. The draft law will be included with the endorsement in the draft law of the agenda of the NA upcoming sittings.
