On February 25, at 00:11 an emergency call was received to Crisis management national center that a car accident had occurred near “Hayrenik” cinema of Yerevan city: a car collided with a pole, then with the wall of “Hayrenik” cinema, there was a blocked citizen.
One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department, The rescue group of the Center for Carrying out Activities of Special Importance of the Rescue Forces Department and the operative group of Crisis management national center of the Rescue Service of the MES of RA dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that “Mercedes S500” (driver M. D. born in 1994) car ran off the roadway, collided with two underpass walls, then to one of the poles of “Hayrenik” cimena. As a result of collision the retaining walls (partially about 4 square meter) and the stone pole (about six meter high) collapsed.
The rescuers took M. D. out of the car and approached to the ambilance. The casualty was hospitalized to “Erebouni” medical center where he died.
