On March 12, at 09:57 local time (at 05:57 GMT) the Seismological Network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the MES of RA registered an earthquake (aftershock) of magnitude 3.8 and 10 kilometers depth with the geographic coordinates of 39.80⁰ in northern latitude and 43.67⁰ in north-east longitude on the 34^th km south-west of Igdir town of Turkey.

The magnitude of the earthquake in the epicenter was 5.

The earthquake was felt in Vardanashen and Janfida villages of Armavir province with a magnitude of 2-3 and in Yerevan city with a magnitude of 2.
