Animator Davit Sahakyants said during a press conference at the Hayeli press club that a corridor through Syunik will eventually open if Nikol Pashinyan and his team remain in power, which is a Turkish-Azerbaijani dream. “It will open if Nikol is reelected, and there is no doubt about that.”
Then, he added that he saw how several mass media outlets are reporting the issue, including Robert Kocharyan and the Armenia alliance’s rally. “They are openly speaking about how Nikol is not to blame for the situation in Armenia. In other words, the rhetoric of My Step, Nikol Pashinyan, and Azerbaijan is the same.”
Davit Sahakyants said that everyone makes mistakes throughout their lives, but if they are unable to recognize their mistakes, they cannot receive treatment. The same goes for Pashinyan who, in Sahakyants’ opinion, continues to manipulate people. “I want to know where Nikol’s shaking voice went that he used during government sessions during the war… He gave the impression that he was in pain using a guilty expression. But now, when we are supposed to start the fight, he has returned to his former voice…
He is playing with people’s emotions. When he says God’s name several times and quotes from the Bible, he is trying to play with the emotions of the faithful. At the same time, Nikol was the one who divided the church from the day he came to power… It’s a pity that people don’t realize he is doing all that for one reason- to stay in power… When he spoke about theft, it was painful to see how people standing in the square did not understand that he was stealing their faith, hopes, emotions, and expectations for a good life from that moment.”

Regarding Nikol Pashinyan’s announcement about national debt, Davit Sahakyants said, “He announced from the National Assembly podium that there is nothing bad about taking loans… but he said from the same podium that the time will come where we have to pay back those loans… If they are constantly taking out loans and saying good things, such as that they will create preschools and schools, take a step back and ask yourselves how we will pay back those loans. I must reiterate that this is a form of manipulation, especially towards those people who are saying, who cares that we have loans and debts, when we have a new government, we will be pardoned…”
