Armenia’s Ambassador to Ukraine at AIISA

On September 16 the Armenian Institute of International and Security Affairs (AIISA) hosted H.E. Mr. Vladimir Karapetyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Ukraine, who arrived in Yerevan to participate in the session of Armenian-Ukrainian intergovernmental commission held for the first time over the last 8 years.

During the meeting Styopa Safaryan, AIISA head, Ruben Mehrabyan, AIISA research coordinator, and the Ambassador discussed the approaches of the Institute and Armenia’s policy on Armenia-Ukraine relations, current state of Armenia-Ukraine relations in the light of recent developments, as well as issues related to cooperation of Armenian and Ukrainian expert communities and research centers. An agreement was reached to continue discussions and cooperation around the abovementioned issues, including remotely.
