Russian peacekeepers provide round-the-clock monitoring of the situation and control over the observance of the ceasefire at twenty-seven observation posts located in the Lachin corridor and along the entire contact line in Nagorno-Karabakh. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
The servicemen of the observation post are monitoring the observance of the ceasefire regime in their area of responsibility around the clock.
Russian peacekeepers ensure the safe passage of transit vehicles through checkpoints.
In order to prevent possible provocations, all vehicles are subject to inspection, and if necessary, they are inspected, said Dmitry Lychkin, a spokesman for the Russian peacekeeping contingent.
