In telephone conversation with Stanislav Zas, Armen Grigoryan discussed situation on Armenian-Azerbaijani border
Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan had telephone conversation with Stanislav Zas, the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
During the conversation, the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border was discussed. Grigoryan stressed that there is a border between Armenia and Azerbaijan since the Soviet Union. The SC Secretary also emphasized that according to 1991 agreement of “Creating a cooperation of independent states”, the sides recognized that border and made it an integral part of the legislation of the two countries.
The sides also discussed issues of Armenia’s presidency in the CSTO.
