On April 19, Artur Vanetsyan, the leader of the I Have Honor faction, said that many people approached him these days and understood that many were not informed. “It is not only the representatives of the opposition who come here, but also people who are dissatisfied with the government but do not understand what to do.
Two-three years of lies and manipulations that have been performed on the people to some extent have paid off- people are lost. We explain why this struggle is for the sake of the homeland, for the sake of Artsakh, that our struggle does not pursue any other goal. We say that these authorities, through daily consistent actions, have managed to bring us the loss of 75% of Artsakh and thousands of casualties.
For more than a year now, we have had the presence of the Azerbaijani armed forces in the sovereign territory of Armenia and the defeatist, compromising policy is being carried to the end, and Nikol Pashinyan’s speech in the National Assembly was the end point that forced me to take to the streets and take this action. I can not be calm when Nikol Pashinyan announces from the NA podium that we could have stopped the war earlier, but we would have had the same result, besides the casualties. I do not understand how it is possible to say such a thing. Parents of more than 30 killed heroes or missing people have come here. They come and say that we criticized you because when you started the protests after the war, the authorities told us, oh, if you do not protest, we will find your children. They gave the most precious thing to this country and now they are handing over the homeland to the enemy with the stroke of a pen. They took our children and sacrificed them to maintain their power.”

Vanetsyan assured that the main goal is the security of the homeland, and a change of government is needed to achieve that. “I do not say that if we drive them out, I will take power. I say we aim to have a safe country, to have a status related to Artsakh, not to hand over the rest of Artsakh so that no one will allow themselves to say that Artsakh can be part of Azerbaijan. These people brought this situation upon us and it will only be possible to correct the situation after they leave.”
