“Arayik Harutyunyan is not the one who brings money to Artsakh today. If he brags that it is his flexibility, then there is no flexibility factor. Today the Armenian government gives money to Artsakh so that people do not suddenly come to Armenia from Artsakh and raise their voices in protest,” said Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the I Have Honor parliamentary faction, speaking about the situation in Armenia and Artsakh after the 44-day war. According to the deputy, the Armenian government is trying to create social dependence so that it can use it politically. ”
And Arayik Harutyunyan’s role there is zero. On the other hand, there is a situation that the political forces, the people who consider Arayik Harutyunyan an accomplice, consider the change of power in Artsakh to be rather vague at the moment, because at present there is a problem with holding elections. On the other hand, the process of constitutional reform is going in parallel, which will provide some flexibility in the future regarding the resignation or, in another case, the change of the president or the parliament.”
According to Tigran Abrahamyan, in the next two years there will be an opportunity to make a big change in Artsakh. He attributes Azerbaijan’s urgency to this very circumstance. “The sooner Nikol Pashinyan leaves power, the more opportunities the Armenian people will have to act,” the MP said, noting that during their rule, Azerbaijan was not fulfilling its obligations.

“Today, unfortunately, the issue of Berdzor has been brought to the forefront, and according to Azerbaijan, it must happen by the end of the year. The November 9 document mentions an alternative route, but where that road will go depends on the Armenian authorities, but today they have stepped aside, leaving it in the sphere of Azerbaijan’s decisions. And Azerbaijan is implementing the programs that it wants, which it considers to fit into the November 9 document.”
