STATEMENT ON THE FORMATION OF THE PUBLIC COUNCIL
Pursuant to the decree of the Artsakh Republic President dated on September 12, 2022, a Public Council was formed, the Charter of the Council was approved and 8 members were appointed, who organized the process of election of other 17 members of the Council.
By the vote of October 12, the other members of the Council were elected from the 27 citizens who applied for the membership to the Public Council.

On October 17, Artsakh Republic President Arayik Harutyunyan signed a decree on appointing Armen Gevorgyan Chairman of the Public Council.
- Gevorgyan was the only candidate nominated for the position whose candidacy was approved by the members of the Public Council and presented to the President of the Artsakh Republic.
