I hosted H.E. Mr. Yong Fan, Chinese Ambassador to Armenia in the National Assembly.
The issues of developing Armeni – China cooperation in the field of human rights were the core of the discussion to promote the progress in the process of solving sphere problems in Armenia.
I congratulated the Ambassador on the re-election of Xi Jinping as General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. I also thanked for supporting the Armenians.
I underlined the existence of not only an economic, but also a civilizational component of the cooperation, my willingness for contacts in humanitarian issues. I offered to organize Chinese language training especially in provinces, needing our attention more than ever.

In his speech Mr. Yong Fan touched upon the steps undertaken to overcome poverty in China, as a result of which tangible progress in the protection of human rights was achieved: modernization took place: they took into account the experience of different countries, but followed the Chinese path. The Ambassador informed that they are ready to share the Chinese experience with us.
Mr. Yong Fan summed up: “This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and China. China supports the Armenians, has always shown willingness to respond the needs and will be glad to give necessary assistance to Armenians”.
