President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the occasion of the upcoming New Year and Christmas holidays. The message reads as follows:

Please, accept my heartfelt New Year and Christmas congratulations.

The passing year was a jubilee year for Russia and Armenia. we marked the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance.
It is important that during your official visit, we managed to record the strategic orientation of the bilateral alliance, to outline the steps for the further development of partnership in various directions, including in the formats of the EAEU, CSTO and CIS.
I look forward to continuing our dialogue and constructive joint work on topical issues of the bilateral and regional agendas.
