Arsen Grigoryan (“Mro”), the guest of the “Aravot” program “Areresum,” performer of Armenian folk songs, Honored Artist of Armenia, and the founder of “Arar” Armenian National Art Preservation Center, made a proposal related to the blockade of Artsakh.
“When there was a change of power, a revolution, they brought world-known Armenian figures in the middle: Serj Tankian, Arsine Khanjian, Atom Egoyan… We are known for our (“Our poor and incapable”, added the other guest, the founder and Artistic Director of the “Karin” Folk Song and Dance Ensemble, Honored Worker of Culture R.A and participant of the Artsakh war Gagik Ginosyan.- A.I.) in Armenian society. When we go out, we say something, we go to the U.N. office, we protest against the Russian embassy, here and there. But our word is in our nation and society. Here is their word. I suggest that Serj Tankian and some of his world-famous friends, like I held a banner in front of the U.N. office or the Russian embassy, let them go and publicize our problem in front of the U.N. office in New York… Let them come out and do something so that the whole world will come out of this silence and understand that there is Artsakh that the citizen of Artsakh is a hostage today, and that is truly a disaster.”
