In his meetings with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Deputy Foreign Minister Vahe Gevorgyan, and Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan yesterday, Senior Advisor for Caucasus Negotiations Louis Bono reiterated the readiness of the United States to engage bilaterally, multilaterally, and with like-minded partners to help Armenia and Azerbaijan achieve a long-term, comprehensive peace.
He underscored the need for free and open commercial and private transit through the Lachin corridor.
SACN Bono also visited the Genocide Memorial to pay his respect to the victims of the Armenian genocide.
