On March 9, Ambassador of Armenia to Poland Samvel Mkrtchian held a meeting with Liliana Śmiech, Vice President of Warsaw Institute, and Paweł Pawłowski, Chairman of the Foundation Council.
Issues related to regional security were discussed at the meeting. The Ambassador presented Armenia’s security environment, foreign policy priorities, and relations with neighboring states and the European Union, highlighting the importance of the activities of the EU monitoring mission on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.
S.Mkrtchian touched upon the details of the humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh resulting from the blockade of the Lachin corridor, underscoring the need for urgent implementation of the legally binding decision by the International Court of Justice dated February 22 regarding the request for provisional measures against Azerbaijan.
