“The residents of the community are busy with their work; there is no panic, they feel like border guards, it must be said in honor of our residents,” Gegham Manukyan, Deputy of the “Armenia” faction of the National Assembly and the member of the ARF Gegham Manukyan, told Aravot.am. Yesterday, he and his colleagues visited Syunik, Goris, Tegh community, where, violating the bilateral agreement, from the night of March 29, the Azerbaijani side was deployed in new positions near the Armenian Tegh village.
Gegham Manukyan said that due to this situation, many Tegh community residents’ arable lands and fields are threatened or deprived of them. Referring to his statements that the advance of the enemy, the implementation of engineering works could be seen with the unarmed eye.
The claim that the NSS report is telling half-truths and manipulating the situation, we inquired what kind of situation was reported to him, and the deputy said: “The NSS, trying to alleviate the situation, published some small numbers, but even with the naked eye it is visible that the progress is much more. Referring to the rumors that there are agreements with Azerbaijan, Gegham Manukyan said: “They are talking about the agreements with Azerbaijan. There is no document; if there is, the public is unaware of it. In what format were the agreements with Azerbaijan: written, oral, or agreements based on Nicol’s concepts? In the same way, on December 17-18, 2020, all over Syunik, our volunteer detachments of the Armed Forces withdrew within a day or two when they were still discussing some arrangements.
