High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan, who is in Spain on a working visit and RA Ambassador to Spain Sos Avetisyan paid tribute to the memory of the holy martyrs of the Armenian Genocide.
As part of his visit to Spain, the High Commissioner also participated in the liturgy held on the eve of April 24.
Together with the representatives of the community, Zareh Sinanyan lit candles and laid flowers at the Armenian khachkar in Montjuic.
In his address to the community, the High Commissioner emphasized that even now a part of our homeland is facing the threat of genocide and emphasized the importance of building a future based on historical memory and its lessons.
