May 04,2023 20:02

During the NA-Government Q&A session, the deputy of Armenia Faction Artur Khachatryan assured that there is increase in crime rates. The deputy asked where the police reforms failed that as a result of them, there is increase in the number of drug use and crimes.

Nikol Pashinyan answered the MP’s question, noting that the illegal turnover of drugs increases.

“The illegal drug turnover and the number of the users increased so much that we discussed even that issue in the Security Council and gave assignments. The hard thing is that they sell drugs already by telegram channels. If we know the situation correctly, then in the near future we’ll apply more effective tools on fighting against them,” the Prime Minister of the country said.

Touching upon the consideration of the opposition MP on thousands of families not having parties, the Prime Minister said: “You are cut off from the Republic of Armenia, if you think that they do not have parties. You do have parties, your faction does and everybody does. We don’t deny anything.”

Nikol Pashinyan reaffirmed that he promised and continues promising happy country.

“That is our political goal and commitment. Having happy country before us that I speak about issues and formulate ideas that I will never formulate in ordinary conditions,” Nikol Pashinyan said.
