The collection of signatures to support the “No to Artsakh ethnic cleansing” youth movement continues with significant momentum in Yerevan. The initiator of the Yerevan signature collection is Taguhi Tovmasyan, the Chairperson of the RA NA Standing Committee on Human Rights Protection and Public Affairs.
This time, the signature collection for the sake of Armenian Artsakh was held at the square of the “Moscow” cinema and the entrance of the “Yeritasardakan” metro station. Aravot.am has been following the signature collection process for several days. We visited both addresses and noted that the activity was high. Everyone comes to sign: retired, middle-aged, and young. And from time to time, there was a queue.
Today we noticed that foreigners are active as well. The young people carrying out the signature collection told us that many foreigners approach, are interested in what the signature collection is for, and express their desire to participate. But, alas, there are also our compatriots who are indifferent to the fate of Artsakh. And fortunately, there are not many of them. In Aznavour Square, a citizen who, according to him, came from the region told us: “How can I sit quietly in my house when the physical existence of Artsakh is already threatened?”

I am not talking about Armenia yet. For several hours early this morning, the Azerbaijani kept Sotk’s positions and settlements close to the border under fire. What does this mean? The organizers of the signature collection find it difficult to say how long this initiative will continue, the purpose of which is to collect as many signatures as possible, which will be sent to International Structures, Embassies, and International Organizations accredited in Armenia to show that the people of Artsakh are standing firmly in their land and are unbreakable, to prove that In Armenia, the people are on the side of Artsakh and rule out handing over Artsakh to Azerbaijan, no matter how much the government leads to it.
