Various news agencies, referring to the Ambassador of Azerbaijan in France, report that on June 1, the Peace Agreement will be signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Chisinau. However, the Armenian side denies this information.
“The Pashinyan-Putin-Aliyev meeting in Moscow lasted 20 minutes. It means that the approaches of the parties were so diametrically opposed that it was pointless to continue talking, or many things had already been agreed upon during the bilateral meetings. During the tripartite meeting, they only recorded the fact that they would reach a final agreement after somewhat technical problems should be solved,” political technologist Vigen Hakobyan said in the press hall of Sputnik Armenia.
According to him: “What Aliyev is doing today was predictable because after the official Yerevan recognized Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan, Aliyev is resorting to proportional actions; he says: if you accept that the territory of the Republic of Artsakh is an inseparable part of Azerbaijan, then attributes characteristic of Azerbaijan’s sovereignty should be introduced there.

Vigen Hakobyan mentioned: “Unfortunately, when Armenia officially recognized Artsakh as a part of Azerbaijan, after that Aliyev moved according to his logic, which is derived from the well-known statement of the Armenian side. The issue of the Azerbaijani passport will also arise in the future, probably a condition will be set that people can freely leave Artsakh and go to Armenia, but returning will be a problem. In other words, either they should accept the citizenship of Azerbaijan, or something similar to the visa regime will be established, which will allow or prohibit entry to the territory of Azerbaijan according to their logic “.
