The other day, a meeting was held with the authors of the “Hayakve” legislative initiative in Gyumri. The authors of the “Hayakve” legislative initiative present the way to reach a referendum, which will make it possible to make changes in the RA Criminal Code-to provide severe criminal punishment to those who recognize Artsakh as part of another state on behalf of the Republic of Armenia, as well as to those who refuse international recognition of the Armenian Genocide on behalf of the Republic of Armenia.
Political scientist and commentator Abraham Gasparyan gave a speech at the meeting, saying: “Friends, in the last ten years at least, including those with ultra-liberal, globalist ideologies which were placed in various layers during the previous governments, they teach us to live the life of the day, you should not think about the future. What is happening in Armenia is that you should not think about the future; you should read that the Turk of today is not the Turk of yesterday; I don’t know what it is.” The speaker said this is consistent, clear, and emphasized policy to remove the people’s resistance.
“The 5th partition of Armenia will be with Tigranashen, remember. I leave aside the so-called enclave of Tavush, the castration of Syunik, political and geographical; will be with Tigranashen, no matter how much they try to convince us of this and that. I don’t want to delve into the maps; I studied them myself for quite a long time, many times I gave the long-range formulations to the main representative of the junta and said, why not with the maps of 34 or 36, where Azerbaijan did not have any competence and did not have jurisdiction over any centimeter of the territory of Armenia. It is more than simple when he feels like a fish in water in Turkey; it is more than simple when he is humiliated, belittled, when he goes to the inauguration of the president of an enemy country, he is not even noticed.” Abraham Gasparyan said that if the Turks took us into account until 2018, it was at the cost of persistently maintaining our national dignity.
Regarding the “Hayakve” legislative initiative, Abraham Gasparyan expressed the opinion that this will not pass; however, according to him, their task is to increase the national combat capability and inventory the national combat capability. He mentioned that the initial 50,000 signatures required by the law should be collected so that with such an initiative, they have the opportunity to mix the playing cards of Ankara-Yerevan-Baku vertical politics.
