In Artsakh, on July 12, the “Headquarters of the People’s Movement for Unblocking the Corridor” held a protest, demanding the opening of the Berdzor Corridor.
The movement’s participants called on the people of Artsakh and the worldwide Armenian people to join the struggle and raise the issue of opening the corridor. As a result of the installation of an Azerbaijani checkpoint in the corridor, Artsakh is under complete blockade.
“Personal ambitions, laziness, or any other reason should not be an obstacle to getting out of this difficult situation with united forces, which is possible only when we all hit the same nail together. Currently, our main problem is unblocking our corridor, which Azerbaijan has done illegally, which the world tolerates because of our silence. There are other reasons, but our silence has opened their hands. We must be able to fight together; we leave aside personal ambitions, political views, and “diplomacy” – sitting on the sofa, let’s put everything aside.
There is only one way to escape from this situation: we are going to open our corridor,” said one of the demonstration participants. According to him, only we can open our corridor: the people living in Artsakh, our compatriots living in other regions of Armenia, our Diaspora, all of us must fight for the same goal with united forces.

“We should not let it get to the point where it is too late. Even now, we are late, but it is not too late if we unite if we fight. Don’t be lazy; come out and join the struggle; only the Armenian people have the right to open the way. The world will stand by us if we want it,” he added.
Davit Vanyan, a member of the movement, also called. “Armenians, unite; it’s enough to sit at home; that time has passed. Let the world see that the people of Artsakh join together and solve any issue. This issue should be resolved here; let’s come out like one person.”
