Vitaly Balasanyan was arrested at his house in Askeran

According to Aravot.am, the former Secretary of the Security Council of Artsakh, Vitaly Balasanyan, was arrested at his house in Askeran last midnight. His son, brother, and cousin were also arrested with him.

The General was arrested demonstratively by masked men twisting his arms. We will present the reasons for the arrest shortly.

According to our information, weapons, and ammunition were found in General Balasanyan’s house after a 40-minute search. After his arrest, he was handcuffed to the National Security Service, and now he is in the prosecutor’s office. Vitaly Balasanyan and his son are suspected of money laundering. According to our sources in Artsakh, it is about 70 million drams.
