Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary David Shahnazaryan provided the following statement to the media.
According to the July 15, 2023 statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry regarding the situation around Nagorno-Karabakh, Moscow not only officially refuses to be the guarantor of the security of the people of Nagorno-Karabakh and among all its other obligations stipulated in the tripartite declaration of November 9 but also publicly encouraging, it gives Azerbaijan a “green light” to carry out ethnic cleansing with military operations against the Republic of Artsakh and its people.
In the statement, the main goal of Russia is once again fixed, that is, its responsibilities towards Turkey, the opening of extraterritorial “Turanian corridors” in the sovereign territories of the Republic of Armenia.
Actually Russia openly justifies its support for Azerbaijan’s ethnic cleansing and genocidal policy to benefit its cooperation with Turkey.
